The Connecticut Insurance Department has denied Anthem Blue Cross's request for a rate increase! You can read about the decision here and here and here. The Department found the rate increase to be "excessive."
This is unprecedented in Connecticut, and shows what can be done to protect consumers when the State Insurance Department really does its job. Jennifer
