As doctors -- especially primary care providers -- become more scarce, we talk about physician's assistants and supporting doctors who choose primary care, but Dr. Chen suggests that we should also be talking about the critical role of nurses -- as well as ways to beef up nursing education to prepare them to take on an expanded role.
