If you don't have health insurance and can't afford what's out there to choose from, here are some tips from HuffPo. I think these are pretty useful. Especially the one about making sure to get primary care on a regular basis so things don't spiral out of control. If you don't have insurance and can't afford to get it, you can afford to see a primary care provider at a federally qualified health center. To find one near you, go here, plug in your address, and check out the list of clinics nearby. And if you need prescription meds and can't pay for them, go here, choose either brand name or generic, and look up the name of the drug by letter of the alphabet. Just follow the instructions to apply for free meds.
