GOP House budget chairman Ryan says he will include "aggressive" changes to Medicare in his budget. For those of us under age 55, he will propose a voucher system that will allow us to purchase private insurance when we become Medicare eligible. The voucher would act as a subsidy; the more income you have, the less subsidy you would get. If you are sick enough, you may get more of a subsidy.
