Huffington Post is reporting this morning that the House cut the COBRA  subsidy extension from the bill entirely, and that there won't be a vote  before the Memorial Day recess.  If they ultimately extend unemployment  and the COBRA subsidy, it's likely to be retroactive to June 1, but  there will be a period of uncertainty, at best.  This is very  distressing.  The COBRA subsidy is all that is keeping many thousands of  people insured.  It will be a real crisis if it is not extended.  J
