Are you as outraged by this as I am?

  1. I don't think I could ever be as mad as you here Jennifer, but I know all they are doing this for is to delay endlessly. As they delay and fiddle around people are dying because they lack health insurance coverage. I am very mad because delay leads to tens of thousands of preventable deaths each year. In fact, about 45,000 Americans die each year because their illnesses are not treated effectively, treatment is delayed, or because life-saving treatment is unaffordable. That's about 123 people dying each day with no good reason for it to happen.

    Here's the link to a 2009 Harvard University study which discusses the degree of preventable death and illness because the United States is the ONLY industrialized democracy that DOES NOT provide adequate health care to all its citizens. Here's a link to the study from FACTCHECK.ORG
